- according to Gordon Townsend, until about 1965 the Fire Station in Oundle Road (built for NFS) was still in use, then demolished. It was almost opposite St Augustines Church, Oundle Road, Woodston, where the newish build offices are. Whilst this station was being built, temporary station in use at factory of JP Hall Ltd, Queens Walk (Peterborough old fire station 4)
